Kirk Elementary

Kirk Elementary Parent -Teacher Association

Kirk PTA is committed to building a bridge between homes and schools, through the efforts of parents, teachers, the principal, and our community. When you get involved in PTA, the child the benefits the most is your own; you are taking a major step toward improving your child’s school and your community, but also your state and national education and health policies.

Families at Kirk Elementary School are invited to join our organization so that we can continue to provide additional curriculum-related educational items and school activities for our students.

 Message from Kirk PTA Board:

Welcome to Kirk Elementary to those of you who are new and welcome back to you who are returning. We are excited about our new school year and can’t wait to meet you. Over the summer, your PTA officers were able to attend some training and we are looking forward to putting our new skills to work for our school community. Kirk PTA is bringing back some of our favorite projects as well as trying some new ones this year.

We challenge you to get involved this year. Commit to volunteering just 3 hours to your child’s school this year and see what difference it makes! Our children perform better when we are involved in their school.

Join us and let’s have some fun!!

A Word about Fundraisers

We do fundraisers through the year, but do not expect Kirk families to participate in all of them. We try to have a variety so that you can have a choice of how you would like to financially support Kirk PTA.

The money raised is used for:

  • Operating costs such as paper, stamps, phone
  • Insurance
  • Trainings and Conferences for Officers
  • To continue field trips for the students
  • Teacher Allotments – to purchase extras for their classrooms
  • Phonic Ears
  • Playground Equipment
  • Books for classrooms and the School Library
  • Assemblies
  • Technology
  • And many more things that benefit our students

? Our special project this year is to raise enough money to update our technology.

There are many ways to get involved with Kirk PTA and all support is appreciated. Whether you can help with one project or several or show support by paying for a membership, we thank you!
